The Chinese tech giant Realme is expected to launch the Realme GT 2 Pro in early 2022. Recent reports have revealed that the smartphone bears the model number RMX3301. The smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. A digital blogger recently shared details about the AnTuTu listing of a Realme smartphone with the model number RMX3300. The digital blogger claimed that the listed smartphone indeed is the Realme GT 2 Pro that will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
The announcement from the blogger comes accompanied by a screenshot of the AnTuTu score. The scorecard shows that Realme GT 2 Pro has achieved a score of 1025215 on AnTuTu. Making it the first smartphone to attain such a high score on the benchmarking platform.
Interestingly, the Xiaomi 12 and the Moto Edge X are expected to be the first smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1; however, their AnTuTu scores have not yet appeared.
Realme GT 2 Pro’s AnTuTu listing showcases the performance of Qualcomm’s chip. The Qualcomm chip is supposed to be a 4nm chipset with one 3.0GHz ARM-Cortex-X2 prime core, 3 2.5GHz ARM Cortex-A710 performance cores, and four 1.79GHz ARM Cortex-A510 efficiency cores.
As for the smartphone itself, it will feature a 6.51-inch of FullHD+ AMOLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it will run on Android 12-based REalme UI 3.0 out of the box. It is expected to have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage onboard. The smartphone is also rumored to feature a 32MP selfie camera on its front, and a 50 MP primary shooter with an OIS on its back. Along with that, it is also expected to support 125W UltraDart charging.
The Realme GT 2 Pro is expected to arrive early next year, and although the company officially has not revealed its price yet. Rumors have it that it will be priced somewhere around CNY4000 in China.
