The launch dates for both the Realme Neo7 SE and Realme Neo7x have been confirmed by the brand Realme, stating that the two devices will arrive simultaneously in Chinese markets on the 25th of February, 2025. This launch comes after the many teasers that the company had released, one example being the company Vice President, Chase Xu, who had confirmed the price of the device on the Chinese site, Weibo.
Realme Neo7 SE: Design Specifications.
Realme shared a video of the upcoming device, showing off the full design of the model and the various color options that would be available for the Neo7 SE. The smartphone is shown to have a rectangular camera module, fixed with a dual camera system, along with an LED flash.
With past leaks where the device appeared on China’s TENAA certification site with the model number RMX5080, we know that it will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,264 X 2,780 pixels) AMOLED screen and a 120Hz refresh rate. This combination is sure to provide any user with a smooth and effortless experience using the phone. The teaser also shows the device having flat edges, with a center-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, along with narrow bezels. As suggested by the listing, the handset may measure 8.56mm in thickness and weigh 212.1g.
Going over the color combinations, from the video provided by Realme, the device was available in either a black, blue, or silver color. The blue version in particular was named the Blue Mecha Edition, claiming to be scratch-resistant. While the teaser does not mention the Realme Neo7x, the microsite available on the brand’s Chinese website provides the date of February 25th as the launch date.

Realme Neo7 SE: Hardware Specifications.
The video confirms that the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Max chipset, as opposed to its predecessor, the Realme GT Neo6 SE, which was equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. As for the battery, the smartphone is to come packaged with a 6,850 mAh cell (this could be marketed as a 7,000 mAh battery), as opposed to the 5,500 mAh that was available on the previous model, and it will support 80W fast charging.
In terms of memory capacity, we can expect the device to have many options. The RAM could be available in options of 8GB, 12GB, 16GB and 24GB. These will be paired with UFS 4.0 onboard storage options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The validity of the information is backed up by the device’s appearances on the TENAA and 3C certification sites.
In matters of connectivity, the Neo7 SE is sure to include a 5G, 4G LTE, IR sensor, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a USB C-type. In terms of security, the device is expected to have facial recognition as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor.
As for the camera, it is likely to come equipped with a 50 MP primary rear camera, along with an 8 MP secondary sensor, very similar to the version that came before it. The front camera, on the other hand, might come with a 16 MP sensor, for good-quality selfies and video calls.
Realme Neo7 SE: Price.
With positive confirmation from the company Vice President, we know that the Neo7 SE will be priced under CNY 2,000(roughly 24,000 INR). Comparing this to the previous release of the Realme Neo7, which had debuted for a price of CNY 2,199 (around 26,400 INR). Judging from the past, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE was rebranded as the Realme GT 6T in India, along with the split of the GT and Neo lineups, we can expect the same with the Neo7 SE.
With the launch of the device confirmed by the company to take place for Chinese audiences on the 25th of February, 2025, at 4 PM local time (1:30 PM IST), fans of the handheld will have to wait just a bit longer for its global release. With a powerful hardware regiment, it appears that the device will be a rather affordable option.
