Realme XT launch event started as scheduled with Madhav Sheth (CEO) opening the event. The company launched Realme XT smartphone and Realme Buds Wireless in India today.
Realme XT Smartphone
Realme has launched its new smartphone Realme XT in the Indian market. It is the company’s first smartphone with a 64-megapixel primary camera. Realme XT has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with dewdrop style. It has the facility of an in-display fingerprint sensor. At the same time, this phone works on Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE chipset. There are three storage variants of the phone, which can also be expanded with the help of MicroSD card.
As per camera, the phone uses Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor for the primary 64-megapixel camera. The main camera has f/1.8 aperture and support for electronic stabilization. The other three cameras are – an 8 -megapixel wide-angle camera (f/2.25), a 2-megapixel macro camera (f/2.4), and a 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4). At the front, the Realme XT includes a 16-megapixel shooter, as a part of a waterdrop-style notch, with Sony IMX471 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.
Realme has launched Realme XT in 4GGB / 64GB, 6GB / 64GB and 8GB / 128GB variants. The starting price of this smartphone is Rs 15,999, and it will be available for sale on September 16 and from September 12 on Flipkart.
Realme Buds Wireless
The company has also launched Realme Buds Wireless. The Buds Wireless is said to be tuned by Norwegian DJ Alan Walker that aims to deliver a minimalistic design. It offers a slim silicone neckband that is attached to two metal cases, where one houses a battery and the other a remote control.
The Realme Buds Wireless is backed by a 110mAh battery unit that can be charged via a micro-USB port. They are claimed to deliver 12 hours of playback and require 1.5 hours to be charged fully. On the connectivity front, the Realme Buds Wireless features Bluetooth 5.0 with a supported range of up to 10 meters. The Realme Buds Wireless will be competing against Xiaomi’s Mi Neckband Bluetooth earphones, JBL T160, BOAT Rockerz 255F BT, and Beats X.
The Realme Buds Wireless is priced at Rs 1,799 and is on sale for 24 hours from now on realme.com and Amazon. The earphones will soon be available offline.
The company has also launched its first power bank with 10,000mAh capacity in the country. The Realme Power Bank will cost Rs 1,299 and will be available from Flipkart, Amazon, and realme.com from end-September.
