Back in July this year, Redmi released the Buds 3 Lite. The TWS earbuds come with a 5.2 Bluetooth connectivity with an SBC codec and are backed by touch controls for music playback and Google Assistant and Siri voice support. However, it seems the brand is gearing up to unveil its next-generation Buds – the Redmi Buds 4 Lite.
A report by 91mobiles in association with Kuba Wojciechowski shows the renders of the upcoming earbuds, which show off the entire design is strikingly similar to the Apple AirPods 3.
Redmi Buds 4 Lite Look Similar to the Apple AirPods 3
The stem and non-in-ear form of the upcoming Redmi Buds resemble the Apple AirPods 3, suggesting that earbuds may not include the Active Noise Cancellation feature. The Buds 4 Lite has a straight ear design and a stem. Compared to the Redmi Buds 3 Lite, which has an in-ear design without a stem, this is a significant design improvement.
The perforations in the ear tips are most likely for microphones for taking calls and connecting to Google Assistant for voice commands. For a better fit in ears, the Redmi Buds 4 Lite also had a somewhat curved design. The charging case is rather simple, with two holes for the ear tips and possibly an LED notification light.
The New Earbuds Specifications
As it stands now, nothing has been revealed about the hardware specifications. However, we hope that the Redmi Buds 4 Lite could be a low-cost option and include the most recent Bluetooth connectivity technologies as well as work with iOS and Android. The earbuds are currently only plain white, but there may be additional colors available when they go on sale.
Redmi Buds 4 Lite Battery and Price
Since the Redmi Buds 3 Lite offers 5 hours of battery life on a single charge and back up by 18 hours of life, therefore, it is expected that the upcoming Buds 4 Lite will feature an upgraded battery life. At the same time, we anticipate affordable pricing and features like fast pairing, gesture controls on the ear tips, the ability to send voice commands to Google Assistant and Siri, and others.
