Xiaomi India is all set to launch the new Redmi Go, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset Youth Edition in India on February 28.
The Redmi Go is supposed to be the company’s first Android Go smartphone and comes with a 5.0″ HD Screen Display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Processor, 8MP rear and 5MP front cameras 3000mAh battery that can claim to have a 10 Days Standby Time. There are two storage variants, one, 1GB+8GB RAM and 1GB+16GB RAM (expandable up to 128 GB through microSD). It also features noise-reducing mics and color options of blue and black.
As hinted by a Telegram-based tipster, the leaked price detail of the Redmi Go is expected to be around Rs. 3,499 for the first three months, after which the price is expected to increase.
The lightweight Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset Youth Edition, complete with IPx4 water resistance rating, 11 hours of battery life, and Bluetooth v4.1 connectivity, is expected to be around Rs. 1,499.
The Redmi Note 7 would be available in 3GB + 32GB RAM and 4GB + 64GB RAM variants with the color options of Red, Blue, and Black. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is expected to be available in the variants of 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 6GB + 128GB, with expandable internal memory up to 256 GB, in the color options like black, red, blue, pink, white, green, purple, and gray.
Moreover, the render for the Indian version of Redmi Note 7 contains the phrases “AI Camera” and “1.25μm f/2.2 PDAF” printed near the camera, while the render for the Indian variant of Redmi Note 7 Pro has “48MP” and “AI Dual Camera” mentioned on it. Furthermore, the model number of the Indian variant of Redmi Note 7 is expected to be M1901F7C, and that of the Indian variant of Redmi Note 7 Pro, M1901F7B.
Regarding the Redmi Note 7, unofficial reports suggest that it might exclude the 48MP rear camera feature, which had been included in the one released in China. Instead, the Redmi Note 7 to be released in India might be similar to the Mi Play that was launched in China. According to unverified rumors, the Chinese Redmi Note 7 could be released in India as the Redmi Note 7 Pro, with a Samsung 48MP camera instead of a Sony sensor. However, these are mere speculations and are not regarded as official statements yet to come.
There have been no official price listings as of now, so we would have to wait for official statements to get to know reliably of the specifications and price details of all the new soon-to-be-released products.
