Redmi recently released two new smartphones as a part of its K series, the Redmi K20 Pro and the Redmi K20. Xiaomi already has a huge fanbase in India, and its sales in India are off the charts. It was only inevitable that Redmi decided to release both devices in India.
The Pro runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC processor and has a 6.39-inch display. It should be mentioned that Redmi K20 Pro is the first smartphone to get an AMOLED display screen. Since the smartphone has a big screen, it has a 91.9% screen-to-body ratio. Pro is available in two variants, the 6GB RAM with 128 GB model, and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model, priced at Rs. 27,999 and Rs. 30,999 respectively. What is more, this Pro version comes protected on both sides thanks to the Gorilla Glass 5 which is stuck on the smartphone from both sides.
Coming to camera specifications, Pro has a triple camera setup at the back, and it consists of 48 MP primary sensor, 13 MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and an 8 MP telephoto sensor. Following the latest trend, the Redmi K20 Pro has a pop-up selfie camera of 20 MP.
The Redmi K20’s display is the same size as the Redmi K20 Pro, a 6.39-inch screen with AMOLED display. The Redmi K20 features a fingerprint sensor which is embedded inside the front screen in the lower region of the smartphone. Following the Redmi K20 Pro, the Redmi K20 also has a triple camera setup at the back. However, unlike the Pro model, the camera of the Pro falls short of performance in low-light. It runs on the Snapdragon 730 SoC, and the new MIUI adds features like dark mode, app drawer, ambient display. Moreover, it runs on a 4000mAh battery which can last up to an entire day. The Redmi K20 is priced at Rs. 21,900.
Both the Redmi K20 Pro and the Redmi K20 are now available in four colors: Glacier Blue, Flame Red, carbon Black, and Pearl While, and it is available for purchase on Mi.com and on Flipkart. If purchased through the Redmi website, there is an additional Rs 1000 off using the HDFC CC.
