Last September, Xiaomi officially unveiled its flagship smartphone – the Redmi Note 13 series- in its home country, China. At the launch event, the mobile brand confirmed that the device will be released in the global markets in January 2024.

Amazingly, the Chinese brand has today uncovered the global and Indian launch date of the smartphone. In a teased launch poster shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, Xiaomi confirmed the Redmi Note 13 series will be launched globally on 15 January 2024 and tomorrow (January 4th) in India.

Redmi Note 13 Series

The Redmi Note 13 series encompasses three variants: Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Originally introduced in China, these models are now ready to charm consumers on a global scale.

All three variants boast a 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display and a 16-megapixel front camera, delivering a visually stunning and immersive experience. While the regular Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ operate on MediaTek Dimensity SoCs, the Pro model stands out with its Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.

Redmi Note 13 Series Specs

Aligning with Xiaomi’s consistency in global offerings, the Redmi Note 13 series for the global and Indian markets is expected to mirror the specifications of the Chinese models. Noteworthy features include the 120Hz refresh rate on the 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED panel and diverse processor options, with the Pro+ model running on MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC and the Pro model powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.

The Redmi Note 13 series doesn’t compromise on camera quality. The Redmi Note 13 sports a 100-megapixel dual rear camera setup, while the Pro models elevate the photography game with triple rear cameras, headlined by a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary sensor equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). All three models share a 16-megapixel front camera for stunning selfies.

Redmi Note 13 Series Expected Pricing

In China, the Redmi Note 13 starts at CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs. 13,900), the Redmi Note 13 Pro begins at CNY 1,499 (around Rs. 17,400), and the premium Redmi Note 13 Pro+ comes with a starting price tag of CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 22,800). While exact pricing for the Indian market is yet to be revealed, it is expected to align closely with the Chinese pricing strategy.

For the global market, a recent leak hints at the European pricing for the Pro models, with the Redmi Note 13 Pro priced at EUR 450 and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ carrying a price tag of EUR 500. These figures suggest competitive pricing for the European market, further solidifying Xiaomi’s global ambitions with the Redmi Note 13 series. Thus, stay connected with TechGenyz for more updates.
