Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand is poised to unveil its latest tablet quickly, following a journey of discovery and uncertainty with its predecessors. The Redmi Pad Pro is set to be revealed in China on April 10th. Ahead of its launch, the tablet with model number 2405CRPFDC has been spotted on the 3C certification database, hinting at support for 33W fast charging.
The certification listing indicates that the Redmi Pad Pro will be supercharged as soon as it’s connected with a fast charger, specifically labeled MDy-16-ED. This charger is capable of delivering power outputs at 15W (5V/3A), 27W (9V/3A), and 33W (11V/3A).
Speculation arises regarding the possibility of the Redmi Pad Pro debuting globally under the POCO brand. This assumption stems from the similarity in model numbers, as a POCO tablet with model number 2405CPCFBG was recently spotted on EEC certification.
Furthermore, the FCC certification of a POCO Stylus Pen suggests that a POCO tablet with stylus support is also in development. However, considering Xiaomi’s revelation about Stylus support for the Redmi Pad Pro, it’s improbable that the POCO tablet could be a rebranded version of it.
Expected features of the Redmi Pad Pro include a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a high refresh rate and 2.5K resolution, along with a hefty 10,000mAh battery. It’s also anticipated to come with HyperOS pre-installed.
