A new variant of its first laptop that is presented with a new format screen design and reduced frames; The device looks similar in line with Apple MacBooks. The new RedmiBook 13 has taken a new design front on its screen, the display has a screen size of 13.3 inches, its 19.5mm thick lower frame bezels have also been cut to a size of 9.96mm.
In this way, this RedmiBook 13 design achieves a massive screen-body ratio of 89%. The device weighs approximately 1.23 kg while providing significant battery life on a single charge of the battery – up to 11 hours. The quick-charge function allows users to recharge the battery to 50% in about 35 minutes.
Xiaomi claims that the area occupied by the RedmiBook 13 laptop itself is 96% of a sheet of an A4 paper. An efficient cooling system with a pair of 6 mm heat pipes is also equipped in the laptop for its new heat dissipation.
Its ventilation system is made of aerospace quality materials of ultra-thin sheets of only 0.1mm. Also, thanks to its various larger heat pipes, an increase in heat dissipation of up to 25% is achieved.
Inside we find the latest generation of Intel Core i5 and i7 tenth generation processors. In combination with 8GB of RAM, 512GB of storage in SSD format and a 2GB GDDR5 GeForce MX250 graphics is integrated. For its part, the 13-inch screen has a resolution of 1080p with a viewing angle of 178º.
RedmiBook 13 laptop uses the latest Microsoft Windows 10 Home operating system. The basic version of the new product with a Core i5 chip will cost about $600, and the top version with a Core i7 processor is priced at $740.
