Ringing Bells has unveiled its latest smartphone Freedom 251, in India – one of the cheapest smartphones in the world. The phone is priced at Rs. 215, equivalent to nearly $3.6, and will be available for booking from 18th February, 6 AM onwards on their official website.
Freedom 251 comes with a 4-inch qHD IPS display powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core. The device is packed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.
On the camera part, users will get a 3.2 MP rear camera and 0.3MP front-facing camera for selfie lovers to capture their best moments.
Though the company is bringing the device at an unexpected price, it offers fairly decent specs and required features. The single SIM smartphone supports 3G and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device is also packed with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1450mAh removable battery.
Freedom 251 will come with one year warranty, and the company will offer support through their 650+ service centers across India.
