Along with HTC and Sirin Labs; makers of blockchain smartphones the other name to join the companies in the Samsung. The recent trademark filings done by Samsung reveal the Korean company’s crypto-plans.
In the European Union, Samsung has filed three trademark applications that reveal Samsung’s current blockchain plans. With publications of the Paperwork for the claims was submitted yesterday for Blockchain KeyStore, Blockchain key box, and Blockchain Core.
Though the filing doesn’t state anything clearly, they indicate that they are looking for Software applications to use with mobile devices. The trademarks are potentially alluding to forms of private or public key storage. Perhaps Samsung is working on a form of a hardware wallet to be built into its future devices.
Samsung earlier this year claimed its potentiality for storing cryptocurrency. Obviously, it was criticized, but now it seems that Samsung will tout its functionality on building its current device.
