The Samsung device Galaxy S21 Ultra camera app comes with a Pro Mode; however, this mode works only in the device’s primary and ultrawide cameras. The telephoto cameras available on the device do not support the Pro Mode. Samsung plans to change this scenario by introducing a new Expert RAW camera app.
Samsung has started rolling out the camera app for the Galaxy S21 Ultra device. The new app lets the users take full advantage of the device’s primary, ultrawide, 3x telephoto, and 10x telephoto cameras in Pro mode. The app also gives the users access to exposure value, focus, ISO, shutter speed, and white balance controls.
Moreover, using the Samsung Expert RAW camera, the users can also adjust the highlights, shadows, saturation, and tint. The users will also have access to a histogram along with HDR support while also being able to save images in Lossless JPG and 16-bit Linear DNG RAW formats.
Although Samsung has already launched the Expert RAW camera app for the Galaxy S21 Ultra device, users are encountering some issues with the app. The app is only available for device running on One UI 4.0 based on Android 12, and because it is currently in beta, the users are facing some issues.
Samsung has also revealed that it will launch a stable version of the app very soon. There is a chance that the app will be made available for the Galaxy S21 Plus and the Galaxy Tab S5E in the near future.
Those Galaxy S21 Ultra users with an updated stable One UI 4.0 can also download the Expert RAW camera app. Samsung has listed the app in its Galaxy Store, but it is available only in South Korea as of now. Samsung will soon launch the app in other regions as well.
