Samsung is preparing itself to release its next smartphone, rather than Samsung’s new phablet: Samsung Galaxy C10. It is the first-ever device of the brand with a dual camera setup, and we received its specs details and estimated price.
The processor it packs is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, which consists of eight Kryo 260 cores, clocking at 2.2GHz and having an Adreno 512 graphics controller. The device has an in-built X12 LTE cellular modem, providing 600 Mbps data transfer speed and 150 Mbps data receival.
Before moving on to further details, let’s wrap up the dual camera highlight. It is a 13 MP rear dual camera with f/1.7 aperture and features Dual-LED Dual-Tone Flash. The front camera is of 16 MP with the same aperture, providing the ability to shoot Auto HDR videos.
The display with Super AMOLED Touchscreen is going to 6 inches diagonally, which makes the handset fall into the phablet category. The resolution supported is Full HD 2560 x 1440 pixels, and the aspect ratio is 16:9. There are likely to be two variants available: 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB, with an expandable dedicated card slot that gives users up to 256GB.
The battery it carries is Li-ion 4,000 mAh non-removable, and it as well endorses fast charging for the Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 4 Technology. Bearing the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the device runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo. Other features include 3.5mm audio jack and a front-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Although price and release dates are yet to be officially specified by Samsung, the Galaxy C10 is expected to bear the price tag of $785 or €630 or Rs. 50,360. Expected release for the flagship novelty is by May-June of this year.
