Today, September 29, the South Korean multinational electronics company, Samsung, has unveiled a new Samsung Galaxy F42 5G in India. The new smartphone comes as a successor to the Galaxy F41 and brings 5G network connectivity. The device was launched in two different storage configurations.
The base model has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, while the high-end model has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. Matte Aqua and Matte Black are the two color options for the smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G has a waterdrop display, a triple camera system, a 64MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 115-degree FoV and a 2MP depth sensor, and a fingerprint sensor on the side.
It equally featured a 6.6-inch display with an FHD+ 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 700 CPU, a 64-megapixel camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.
The phone runs on Android 11-based OneUI 3.1 custom skin out of the box and has an 8 MP snapper on the front and selfie snapper, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
In terms of connectivity, the new smartphone featured dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

According to the Korean tech giant, the new Samsung Galaxy F42, 5G will be on sale in India during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days from October 3rd while on October 2nd for Flipkart Plus users. It will also be available through Samsung’s online store.
