Samsung launched Galaxy J4 in India yesterday, June 1, expanding its range of Galaxy smartphones. It is boasted with the brand’s signature specs and industry-first features, yet another phone dedicated to selfies.
The new handset sports a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display supporting 1280 x 720 pixels with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It is fueled by a 1.4GHz Exynos 7570 processor coupled with Mali T720 MP1. The OS is Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Exp 9.0.
For selfies, Samsung Galaxy J4 brings a 5 MP front camera that comes with an LED flash. There’s a rear camera that’s equipped with a 13 MP lens and f1.9 aperture. The body bears a 2.5D glass design and packs a 3,000mAh battery.
Regarding storage, the device has two variants: 2/16GB is priced at Rs. 9,990, and 3/32GB will cost Rs. 11,990. Both variants are expandable up to 256GB via microSD. The color variants are black, blue, and gold.
One of the highlights is Advanced Memory Management, a ‘Make for India’ feature. It automatically directs image and video contents from the social media apps to the external memory card and deletes duplicate contents to save memory space.
J4 expectedly bears the Samsung Mall app that helps in online shopping via taking images of products. It also houses the App Pair feature, letting users simultaneously open two apps for multitasking.
