Samsung India is all set to make its debut of Galaxy ‘M’ series smartphones in January 2019 that is supposed to sport a 6.4-inch Infinity V display and a large battery, probably the largest ever on any Samsung smartphone.
Infinity-V display model is identical to waterdrop or teardrop notch we have seen on smartphones in recent times. Smartphones such as Realme 2 Pro, OnePlus 6T all come with a waterdrop notch which in Samsung’s words is termed as Infinity-V display.
A clear head-start to capture the market, ‘M’ series will be the world’s first new smartphone series that will be launched with industry-first features. The South Korean tech giant is likely to launch up to four smartphones in the Galaxy M series, the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30, and Galaxy M40, as per the sources.
However, M30 has been already spotted on the Geekbench listing revealing some key specifications. The Galaxy M30, according to a Geekbench listing, will be powered by an Exynos 7885 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. The Exynos 7 series chip also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and delivers great single-core performance over the Exynos 7880. Galaxy M30 may come with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage options.
The M-Series launch comes close to the launch of the Galaxy A7 and the Galaxy A9 – Samsung’s first ever triple and quadruple lens setup camera smartphones. Apart from the A7 and A9 Galaxy smartphones, Samsung also launched its flagship series – Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Plus, and the Galaxy Note 9.
Samsung India seems to be all set to launch other interesting products across its domains in 2019 to maintain its leading position in the country and in the market.
