Samsung has announced when it will reveal the “Next Galaxy,” and it’s precise as what leaks have claimed. More interesting, the company itself seems to be teasing its features on how controversial the front camera will be.
Samsung announced its latest Unpacked event for August 7th at 4 PM ET at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, NY, the venue where the company will be announcing the Galaxy Note 10, the latest in its line of super-sized stylus-equipped smartphones.
Rumor has it Samsung will take the wraps off not one, but two versions of the Note 10: a normal-sized Note phablet and an extra-large Pro model. The Pro version, which could sport a 6.7- or 6.8-inch display, may also include a fourth rear camera lens to differentiate itself from the smaller Note. Samsung’s latest phone is also expected to feature 5G connectivity, at least on some versions, similar to the device maker’s Galaxy S10 5G.
The rear camera is on an attractive proposition. The forward-facing selfie camera seems to be a single-lens affair. With features such as microSD support and the universal 3.5mm headphone jack potentially being dropped, the Note 10 may not be as attractive as many are hoping.
Samsung’s Unpacked event is scheduled for August 7 and will start at 4 pm ET. Samsung will live stream of the even on various channels.
