Samsung has made a filing recently with ANATEL, Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency regarding bringing a new upgrade to its upcoming smartphone Galaxy Note 9.

The Galaxy Note 9 upgrade is on the battery, as it gets a massive 4,000mAh capacity. The filing was also mentioned by SamMobile that further solidifies the feature. Most importantly, this one upgrade has lined up consequences in the aftermath.

Firstly, the filing confirms a detailed hands-on review of the phone by Eldar Murtazin, the Russian tech reporter. His claims included that his owned leaked model of the device had a 4,000mAh battery delivering up to 2 days of juice and 25 hours of non-stop video playback with maximum brightness, all in one full charge! Murtazin claimed other points as well, and now the confirmation makes those more serious.

Then, the predecessor model, Galaxy Note 8 had only a 3,300mAh battery, an upgrade upon which is always exciting for the fans. However, the asking price of Galaxy Note 9 did not change. According to Roland Quandt, the tipster for WinFuture, the new handset will have a starting price of €1050 or $1230 and will go up to €1250 or $1460 in the European markets.

Experts say that Galaxy Note 9 considering its specs revealed so far is going to be a value for money. The likes of 6GB or 8GB RAM, an inbuilt memory of 64GB/128GB/256GB, and it is expandable up to 512GB, coupled with SoCs like Exynos 9810 octa-core and Snapdragon 845, are together quite a package of features complimenting the high price!

At the same time, it is expected to be a tough sell right from the start for the possible lack of the on-screen fingerprint reader. Although the scanner is not going to be completely absent, rather it will be traditionally mounted on the rear panel.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is slated to be released on the coming August 9.
