Samsung has already sent out media invites for the launch of Galaxy On7 Prime, a smartphone that will “transform your shopping experience”, scheduled to take place at Gurugram on 17th January 2018. The phone will be an Amazon exclusive, and the shopping site has already enlisted its numerous features. The device will also be made available in the UAE, but the UAE version will differ slightly from its Indian counterpart.
The device, powered by a 1.6Ghz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, will come with an 8 mm slim unibody design and a 5.5-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
As far as storage is concerned, the device will be made available in two configurations, both of which can be extended to 256 GB by means of external SD cards. The first type will have 3 GB RAM and 32 GB default storage, while the second type will have 4 GB RAM and 64 GB default storage.
The Indian and UAE versions of the devices will differ so far as the cameras are concerned. The Indian version of the On7 Prime will have a 13 MP rear and selfie camera, but the UAE version will have an 8 MP selfie camera, while its rear camera will be 13 MP. The cameras will have an f/1.9 aperture and LED flash.
The phone will have a physical home button and will also feature capacitive buttons. It can be connected via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and 4G LTE, and it also features a micro USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio jack for wired connections. It will support dual SIMs and will be powered by a 3300 mAh battery. The phone is expected to be made available in two colors, black, and gold, and be priced at approximately Rs. 15,000.
