In a recent development, it has been reported that Samsung’s next flagship model the Galaxy S10+ would carry an all-new display hole design that has not been seen in other smartphones in the series. Although sources haven’t confirmed it yet, Samsung has left no stones unturned to design the perfect pill-shaped display hole to accommodate both the front cameras of the Galaxy S10+.
Since the phone is sporting dual front camera setup, it is necessary to develop an innovative new design to meet the growing competition in the smartphone industry.
To take the competition to another level, Samsung has already offered a triple camera setup on the rear of Samsung S10+ reportedly a 12 MP primary camera, a 16MP secondary sensor, and a 13MP telephoto sensor. The camera department of this smartphone seems to be a notch better than its other counterparts in the market.
The phone itself is rumored to pack a beast. Supposedly powered by either the Snapdragon 8150 or the latest Exynos 9820 processor, the device will run on the latest Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s One UI to help smooth processing. Another specification that can be expected from this device is its 6.44-inch display and its battery capacity which, if rumors have it will be the largest battery in the device series.
With 5G soon becoming the next best thing about networks and connectivity, Samsung soon plans to release a 5G model variant of the S10 in specific markets.
5G is yet made to be available to the larger market, so Samsung will reportedly manufacture only 2 million units of this variant. This variant is expected to sport a quad-camera setup in the rear and a 3D ToF sensor for AR and VR modes.
Unlike the standard model which sports a dual-camera setup, the 5g variant is expected to attract more crowd owing to its enhanced specifications. Also planning to target crowd that prefers low priced devices over flagships, Samsung plans to unveil a Lite variant too, which will be priced lowest among the three.
Although Samsung hasn’t yet announced any official pricing or an official release date for Galaxy S10+, the devices are expected to be launched before the Mobile World Congress in 2019.
