Samsung announced on its official webpage that Samsung Electronics has officially launched the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e all over the world. The new smartphones will be available for purchase both in stores and online from today, March 8, 2019. The three new smartphones will be available in the market in approximately 70 countries. Some of the countries in which the devices will be released are the U.S., Canada, India, China, and all of Europe. Samsung is aiming to make smartphones available in about 130 markets by the end of the month.
These Galaxy devices were revealed only last month in the event that took place in San Francisco. Samsung is claiming that with the above-mentioned smartphones, they have somewhat raised the bar as to what a smartphone should ideally be like. They are also of the opinion that other tech companies may follow to suit their example.
The Galaxy S10 comes with what Samsung calls an Infinity-O display with a 6.1-inch QHD+ display, and it gives an aspect ratio of 19:9. Underneath the screen lies an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC with 8GB RAM and 128 GB and 512 GB storage options. The rear side of the phone houses three cameras of 12MP wide angle lens, 12 MP telephoto lens, and a 16MP ultra-wide angle lens. The front camera is 10 MP.
The Samsung Galaxy S10e sports a 6.4-inch QHD+ Infinity-O AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. In addition to the 128 GB, 512GB and 1TB internal memory, the memory can be expandable up to 1.5 TB. The camera set up is the same as the Galaxy S10. However, where Galaxy S10 has only one selfie camera, the Galaxy S10+ has two cameras (10MP+8MP). The Galaxy S10e features a smaller screen of 5.8 inches. It is available in two RAM options, 6GB, and 8GB with 128 GB and 512 GB internal memory. It features a dual camera of 12MP and 16MP and a selfie camera of 10MP. The Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e are priced at Rs 66,900, Rs 73,900 and Rs 55,900 respectively.
