Samsung and LG seem to be in a hurry to present their new creations to the world. New rumors emerged in Korea, the country of origin of both companies, suggesting that the two technology giants could advance not only through the presentation of their next star terminals but also through the launch of the Galaxy S9 and LG G7, respectively.
On previous occasions, clues told us that Samsung could announce its new flagship phone during CES 2018, held in Las Vegas in January. Even Evan Blass is one of the most famous filterings, and analysts of the scene affirmed that, in effect, the Consumer Electronics Show would be the scenario that would host the presentation of the S9 and S9 +. In addition, everything indicates that LG would have decided to follow in the footsteps of its South Korean neighbor.
Samsung and LG want to get ahead of the rest
Although both Samsung and LG have us used to presenting their best devices in February or March for the first half of the year, it seems that this trend will come to an end in 2018, when both companies launch their bets for the high-end January, two months ahead of schedule.
Apparently, Samsung intends to announce its device ahead of time with the aim of subtracting the prominence that Apple’s iPhone X carries from the moment of its launch. LG does not want to be left behind and would follow the same steps with its G7; according to the report, it would be accompanied by aggressive marketing campaigns to redeem the disappointment caused by the previous G6.
At the moment, none of the two companies has spoken about these reports, although it would be far from unreasonable to think that both companies could introduce their new creations with some advance and thus anticipate the rest of the signatures. Anyway, we still have to wait a couple of months – probably full of leaks of both devices- until we discover the plans of the two South Korean giants.
