Samsung is slowly rolling out the Android 10 update to some of its previous smartphone models. When it comes to the reputation of having a record for software updates, Samsung always falls short of that. But for the Android 10 update, Samsung has become more consistent. Most recently, the Galaxy A20e, the Galaxy A10, and the Galaxy J6 received the Android 10 update.
It should be mentioned that Android devices have a poor record of updating the status of Android devices, and under 10% of Android devices only enjoy the latest version. No matter how hard, Samsung has worked to get the update to its users gradually but consistently, the update itself comes with its own set of problems.
When some of the handsets are working perfectly when it comes to the latest update, the same cannot be said about some other models. For example, the Galaxy S9+. The model received the Android update some three months back, and even though for the most part, it is working seamlessly, a few users are having some trouble with their smartphones after the update.
A Galaxy S9+ user complained about the official Samsung forum that after the update, his phone or the apps malfunction after being connected to the car. The user claimed that he has been using the Mirrorlink function without any problems and that the problems started surfacing after the update. He has no trouble connecting his phone to the car but the main problem is with the apps. The unit display comes up with an error by showing a black screen. When driving, a short message flashes on the screen that the app is not available while driving.
He further complained that the entire system in the car is working fine with the Galaxy S8.
His problems apparently went unanswered, and there is no news from the Developers’ desk as of yet.
