Samsung has unveiled this Wednesday its new Galaxy Tab S6, the new bet of the South Korean firm in the section of tablets that comes to replace the Galaxy Tab S4 in the section of those that lead this line of consumption.
In between, we have had the Galaxy Tab A and the Galaxy Tab S5 and S5e, both with lower benefits that automatically placed them outside the spectrum of the most demanding users.
In this case, the Galaxy Tab S6 deploys much of the artillery with which they hope to compete with the iPad and that Apple’s proposals are not the only ones that can satisfy those who seek power and versatility in a compact device.
Samsung packs a Snapdragon 855 processor in the Galaxy Tab S6, one of the most powerful that Qualcomm manufactures today – in addition to the recently introduced Snapdragon 855+, a refreshment of the previous one-, accompanied by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage (depending on the model). Inside is also a 7,030 mAh battery.
The tablet comes with 10.5 inches AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,500 x 1,600 pixels that, for the first time in the line of Samsung Tabs incorporates a fingerprint reader located under it.
In its rear, another of the additions that we see arriving at the brand’s tablets is a dual rear camera of 13 + 5 megapixels with apertures f / 2.0 and f / 2.2, respectively. The second of this is a wide-angle sensor. On its front is an 8 MP f / 2.0 lens.
Two of the popular tablet accessories are still present, although renewed. This is the keyboard with built-in trackpad and the S Pen, which this time adds wireless charging and has a range of 10 hours.
Samsung has not announced price or availability or price of this tablet, although different information points to the beginning of its sale in August and with a price that will be around $650.
