It seems like Samsung is all set to launch the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2, the successor to the original Galaxy Watch Active that was released this March.
Website SamMobile yesterday published pictures of what is claimed to be the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2, along with some of its specifications.
The Active 2 smartwatch will reportedly function on version 1.5 of One UI which can include newer additions as compared to the version 1 of One UI that existing Galaxy smartwatches function on.
Said to come in two size variants, 40mm and 44mm, the Active 2 might not feature the rotating bezel of previous Samsung Gear smartwatches.
Even though the Active 2 looks quite similar to the original Active, certain differences are there, such as the round home, the round power button, the rectangular back button, and a circular rim around the rear-mounted heart rate sensor.
The Active 2 is also supposed to include a microphone on the right between the home and back buttons, along with possible speaker grills on the left, which indicate the possibility of having phone call capabilities.
Moreover, it is anticipated that the Active 2 would come in the variants of either LTE with a 340mAh battery capacity or Wi-Fi with 237mAh battery capacity.
