Samsung has officially launched the new Galaxy S21 FE which comes fitted with a Snapdragon 888 chipset, an AMOLED screen, and three cameras on its back. The smartphone features a 6.4-inch 2340x 1080 AMOLED display that supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. Samsung has opted for an in-display fingerprint scanner. As mentioned above, the smartphone comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, just like the S21 series. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 4500mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
The backside of the smartphone houses a triple-camera setup. The camera setup consists of a 12MP main shooter with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and an 8MP 3x telephoto lens. As for the selfie camera, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S21 FE with a 32MP front camera.
The front camera is housed inside the punch-hole cutout at the top center of the smartphone. One of the things to notice about the smartphone is its camera lens. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes with a number of shooting modes. One such model is a multi-camera recording mode that lets the users capture video from both the front and the back camera at the same time. Moreover, the night mode can capture up to 14 images at the same time while also maintaining lighting details so that the final product can combine the various details in a single photo. An object eraser lets the users erase unnecessary objects from the captured photo.
Some other features of the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S21 FE include IP68 certification, Barometer support, NFC, and One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. The smartphone is available in three storage options: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage. The starting price for the smartphone begins at USD 699.
