Last year, Samsung launched its QLED TVs at CES 2017 and reached the primary markets around the world. But, the company unveiled only two variants of Q7 and Q8 from the family of QLED TVs. So, today, Samsung disclosed the launch of its new 88-inch QLED TV dubbed Q9 in North Korea and America. The company assures that the 88-inch Q9 TV is user-friendly and has a better picture quality, allowing viewers to enjoy watching TV even in big houses.

Jongsuk Chu, Senior Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, said that

At Samsung, we are aiming to expand our footprint in the ultra-premium TV market with our ultra-large QLED TV models that embody the perfect combination of technology and art. With their superior picture quality and innovative features, we are confident that our QLED TV lineup will continue to drive sales and solidify Samsung’s leadership in the global TV market.

The Q9 model was honored as record-high scores by Video Magzine, one of the Germany’s most known consumer electronics magazine, and appreciated it as the best for HDR TV.

Seeing the appreciation and demand for huge screens and premium TVs, Samsung planned to bring its new 88-inch QLED TV model to the global market. So now, the QLED TV series comes in different variants such as 88-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch models.

The Samsung QLED TV is the only TV that features 100 percent color volumes that are able to regenerate high-quality and colorful images by using wide metal quantum dot technology. The QLED TV has the capability of displaying colors in detail and identifying light contrast even at high brightness.

The TV comes with a size of 1.88mm and consists of a transparent optical cable, also referred to as Invisible Connection. The optical cable allows the user to establish the connection with other peripheral devices without making use of wired cables. The other feature is the No Gap Wall-mount that enables the screen to be mounted flush against the wall.

Another feature of QLED TVs is that it reduces the complexity of using different remotes for controlling the peripheral devices, i.e., a single remote is sufficient to control the connected device.

Now, talking about the prices, the 88-inch variant of the Q9 TV is priced at $19,999 in the US. It’s a big amount. But what if you can’t afford the QLED TV and you still wish to buy it? For those who can’t afford it and desires to purchase it, the company offers interest-free EMI. Customers who buy this TV will also be eligible for up to 180,000 Samsung Reward Points and an additional $50 discount on a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player from the company. The company also provides a discount of $200 max in exchange of your old TV.
