In partnership with Mobeewave, Samsung Electronics launched an NFC-enabled contactless payment acceptance solution on mobile devices globally starting Oct 15, 2019. Samsung has announced its collaboration with a global pioneer in contactless payment acceptance solutions to deploy NFC-enabled contactless payment acceptance.

The two companies will deploy the point-of-sale service, Samsung POS, on Tuesday in Canada and plan to expand the solution globally within 2020. The new solution allows merchants to accept debit and credit payments solely by tapping the cards, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay wallets onto Samsung NFC-enabled devices, subsequently avoiding needing additional hardware.
Earlier this month Samsung announced Samsung Pay Cash, which enabled users to manage their budgets by setting up a prepaid balance, along with making international money transfers through services provided in Samsung Pay by Travelex. In addition, Samsung conjointly unrolled cash Transfer support in Samsung Pay.
