Good news for Samsung fans – the South Korean technology giant has released Galaxy S7 edge Blue Coral, the sixth color edition of the flagship device. The company on its official website announced that the new version will be available in selected countries across the globe starting from today.
Samsung launched the flagship 5.5-inch device in the first quarter of this year. Galaxy S7 edge is already available in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl, Silver Titanium, and Pink Gold. After the launch of Pink Gold variant in the US in August, some users were waiting for the Blue Coral version – and this will give some extra mileage to the company after the halt of Galaxy Note 7 production.
The new Blue Coral edition follows this year’s color trends, which are less vivid and more tranquil. Inspired by nature, the color shimmers as if it is illuminated from the inside of the phone’s glass surface.”
The company has not mentioned the availability details since it will be announced by wireless providers and regional Samsung offices in each market. Galaxy S7 edge comes with a 12-megapixel camera running on the Android v6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 octa-core processor with 4 GB RAM and 32 or 64 GB of built-in storage. Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen on the curved display with sleek design looks stunning on Coral blue version.
Color has always been an important factor for the users – with the new addition; the company has touched almost every variation available in the market. In terms of the safety of the device, the smartphone comes with IP68 water and dust resistance technology. The other features include its Dual Pixel camera – first used in any smartphone- giving users brighter and sharper images, even in low light.
