Samsung is targeting the professionals for whom flexibility and improved functionality is indispensable. Samsung debuts an upgraded version of the Notebook 9 Pen with premium design and a more improved powerful battery that is claimed to last up to 15 hours.
The company has announced two new versions of the Notebook 9 Pen, a 13-inch and a 15-inch model with more updates that make the new devices worth their inevitably high price tags. The 13-inch model comes in just 1.12KG (2.47 pounds) while the 15-inch model weighs just 1.56KG (3.44 pounds), which makes the Notebook 9 Pen an incredibly lightweight portable device.
Getting what’s old is new again out of the way; the Notebook 9 Pen is Intel’s latest eighth generation Core i7 processor. The 13-inch version is still offered with integrated Intel HD graphics, the 15-inch version has an option of NVIDIA GeForce MX150 2GB discrete graphics. The new device has a navy blue coating with a sleek look.
Furthermore, the firm brings back the two forms of biometric authentication: both a face scanner and fingerprint reader. To announce the prices; it would be a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) touchscreen with a price tag of $1,299 (about £1,030, AU$1,790). Samsung is likely to announce the Notebook 9 Pen at the CES 2019 trade show scheduled to be held in January.
