Samsung Gear S3 has been upgraded to a special TUMI edition. The standard edition was launched at the end of 2016, and this special edition is gone on sale.
The Samsung Gear S3 Frontier Special Edition features an Italian gray canvas strap, stainless-steel buckle, stitched edge detailing, and a custom watch face. It also consists of the same spec sheet as the standard version. So that’s a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED display in a 46mm diameter with an effective resolution of 360 x 360, covered in Corning Gorilla SR+ glass – the new tough material designed with wearables in mind. The color count is 16 million. It is entertained by a rotating bezel that allows you to navigate through the menus, adjust the temperature of the Nest Thermostat, and attend or reject the calls.
It is packed with 786MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. And the processing power is handled by a 1.0GHz Dual-Core processor. The software part is administrated by Company’s own Tizen OS. It is featured by Samsung Pay, allowing you to pay without contact. You can complete 10 transactions before connecting to your phone again.
If you want to buy this fancy edition, you can visit any store from 6 Aug or buy it from Samsung or BestBuy online for $449.99, $150 more than the standard one. There are some chances to see the much more capable Samsung S4 at IFA 2017 with some improved and decent specs and featured with Samsung’s new voice assistant Bixby.
So Gear S3 TUMI special edition might have come a little too late.
