The latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is paving the way to a new era of advanced mobile machinery fitted with AI, more refined gaming, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Revealed that the new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 would make a red carpet debut in the middle of December; on the flip side, Dimensity 9000 is standing in the queue to exhibit its performance in February next year. Nothing hasn’t been confirmed yet officially. The Weibo blogger further suggests that Xiaomi’s Redmi K50 series, equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, is expected to make a debut into the tech market at the end of February, while the OPPO Find X5 series is scheduled to release after the spring festival.
Recently, Senior Vice President of Xiaomi Lu Weibing said that there is no Redmi K40S this year, and the next generation of Redmi flagship is K50, and it will be produced later in 2022. Coming to Redmi K50, the new flagship mobile will come in four models, codenamed I10, I10a, I11, I11r. Amidst them, the model codenamed I10 will be equipped with Dimensity 9000 processor, and contrastingly the model I10a will use the Snapdragon 870 processor.
Furthermore, On Nov 30th, the Weibo blogger @????? shared his thoughts that Redmi’s Dimensity 9000 are not as speedy as the new Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 8 Gen1 models, even so, MIUI 13 is pre-installed. Both the processors are constructed on the 4nm technology. However, similarities were broken when Dimensity 9000 used the TSMC’S process, whereas Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 used Samsung’s 4nm foundation.
