SNK’s most recent fighting game releases today for PC, Play Station 4 & 5, and Xbox Series X/S with new features, 39 characters, and many more.
The King of Fighters 15, SNK’s most recent product in its renowned gaming hub, is out today. Different reviewers worldwide have gone live to discuss its features amidst much hype before its February 17 release.
The famous King of Fighters Tournament is back, with more modes, characters, and a continued plot. Different heroes and villains meet this time, plus those resurrected in the last game as the tournament gets set for the final showpiece.
Coming after the happenings in KOF XIV, the event will surround two characters, Shun’ei and Isla, with closely linked multiverse superhuman abilities. The game involves a fight between teams of three warriors. Also, the tournament has a wide range of online modes, which include Online Training and Casual Match.
Per the game’s characters, 39 different playable characters in thirteen teams deck this edition. The old characters include returning warriors like Ash Crimson and Mai Shiranui. Of course, not all 39 characters are old faces; the KOF 15 also welcomes new faces like Isla and Dolores. However, users of the paid version have four additional teams of twelve fighters and one single character.
SNK has also announced that the KOF XV will showcase extra twelve characters after the February 17 official launch. KOF 15 lovers and reviewers can expect more characters to join in Team Pass 1 during the launch of Team Garou with Rock Howard, Gato, and B. Jenet next month. Team South Town with Geese Howard, Ryuji Yamazaki, and Billy Kane will follow in May.
Dating back to 1994, The King of Fighters is one of the oldest franchises in its category for the Neo Geo home console and the Neo Geo arcade system. Gamers looking to enjoy the game in the United States can buy the Omega Edition of the tournament, which includes a range of extra perks.
