Sony expands its 50-megapixel product lineup to realize creative image experiences beyond imagination with the new mobile image sensor brand. According to the firm, LYTIA is a new product brand of mobile image sensors that realize creative video experiences beyond imagination.

In response to smartphone users’ desire to express and share their emotions more freely, SSS is working on product development under the LYTIA brand to bring creative experiences beyond imagination.”
Sony introduced the LYTIA brand so that more users can shoot with smartphones and feel the commitment and passion for SSS images. The first LYTIA product lineup centered on 50 megapixels will be shipped within the fiscal year.
LYTIA Product Lineup and Features
As the first product of the LYTIA brand, the product lineup comes with 50 megapixels and includes:
LYT900
LYT900 is a 1-inch image sensor that achieves high gradation expression with 1/0.98 type (diagonal 16.384 mm). It features a high-end model that pursues high image quality for smartphone photography.
LYT800
LYT800 come with a 1/1.4-inch premium model that approaches the image quality of a 1-inch sensor with 53 million effective pixels. Additionally, it is the first sensor equipped with a two-layer transistor pixel structure that achieves a high saturation signal level.
LYT700
LYT700 featured a 1/1.5-inch model that does not compromise the slim design of smartphones, with sensors that inherit high-end functions.
LYT600
LYT600 is a 1/2-inch sensor equipped with high-end functions such as all-pixel autofocus.
LYT500
And finally, LYT500 comes with a new standard model for the front sensor of the selfie era 1/2.9 type sensor with 50 megapixels of high image quality with 0.6um fine pixels and always-on function.
