Sony is like a gutter, player can hit it as hard as a meteoroid meets the earth, but still, the company shows up and do nothing but pay its debt. In a new scenario, Sony has rolled out a new PS5 update that is plated with a highly awaited Discord integration.
The newly rolled-out update stands for version 7 and is at full fledge to occupy its place in the consoles, with the Discord spoon out of the bowl, the company has also brought enhancements to 1440p resolution, the feature of transferring your data between PS5 consoles, and finally, in a new amphitheater, you can use your voice to capture clips of your gameplay.
If you have already been through Discord on the Xbox and wonder how Sony has taken it to the PS5? You may not wonder as much as you did initially, because, if you’re a PS5 holder and bought it under peer pressure, and asking how to open Discord on the consoles? It is the same as Microsoft did last year with Xbox. You will be able to surf through the Discord app on mobile or a PC to transfer a Discord call to your console, Discord can’t be accessed directly from the console.
As of now, you can only communicate through voice chats in Discord embedded in PS5, which means there is no work for the keyboard. With Discord integration, players across different platforms can gather into a single stage without demanding the game chat feature.
The PS5 also receives some quirky enhancements to its 1440p mode with the current update, the company says 1440p has been broadened with multiple Refresh Rates tuned for 1440p to get to see a sleek visual performance in games. In addition, Sony is also bringing voice command support. PS5 holders can now save their video by saying “Hey PlayStation, capture that!” Further to, Sony is also enhancing the social traits of the share screen feature and party chats inside the PS5 forum, with a new “friends who play” marking now popping out from the profile, so that you can make a call of which friends are online.
