Sony today announced two new models constituting a part of its Extra Bass wireless speaker line-up: the SRS-XB22 and the SRS-XB32. They offer the facilities of selecting a favorite playlist, cueing the next song, and changing the speakers’ lighting patterns and sound modes.
What’s even more fascinating is the wireless party chain mode that connects the speakers with up to 100 Sony-compatible speakers via Bluetooth.
With the Live Sound mode, both the speakers “are carefully designed to give you a real three-dimensional experience… angled speakers with new DSP technology send your music to a wider area, creating a festival vibe, wherever you are.”
Featuring an IP67 rating, the two speakers are water and dust resistant, coming with rubber-like coating and washable fabric and being rust-proof and shock-proof.
Coming with MRC (Mica Reinforced Cellular) speaker cone that enhances sound quality and a dual 48-mm speaker unit that offers powerful sound and bass. The speakers offer Party Booster which when activated provides different sounds–“like a scratch, snare, kick drum and cowbell.” The speakers can be controlled via the Fiestable app and the Sony Music Center app.
