Sony is expected to announce a large number of smartphones during the Mobile World Congress 2019, which will be held on February 25 in the city of Barcelona. A conference in which the Xperia XA3 will be shown to the world will land in two variants: Sony Xperia XA3 and XA3 Plus. Although, according to a new rumor, the company would have renamed these devices to Sony Xperia 10 and Sony Xperia 10 Plus.
We have already heard that the Japanese Sony is planning to abandon the Xperia XA line, and the new Sony Xperia XA3 and Xperia XA3 Ultra / Plus smartphones may come out under completely different names. And today’s leak fully confirmed these rumors.
According to the well-known insider Ishan Agarwal, Sony Xperia XA3 and Xperia XA3 Ultra / Plus will actually be known as Sony Xperia 10 and Sony Xperia 10 Plus. However, he clarifies that the main reason for the rebranding lies in the updated design of smartphones, and the new names should emphasize their special status.
The network has already appeared to render images of both devices. And we know that they will get the same design with widescreen displays with an aspect ratio of 21:9, very thin frames on three sides of the screen, and a massive frame on top. And the only external difference between Sony Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus lie-in is the larger size of the latter.
It is assumed that Sony Xperia 10 will get a 5.9-inch display against a 6.5-inch screen in Xperia 10 Plus. The first novelty will be equipped with a Snapdragon 660 chipset, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, a dual back 23 megapixel + 8-megapixel camera and a battery with a capacity of 3,500 mAh. Similar characteristics should get higher with Xperia 10 Plus, which are still unknown for now.
