Sony finally comes out with the detailed design for PlayStation 5 (PS5), for both the standard edition and the digital edition with no optical drive.
The PlayStation 5 comes in a sleek black design accentuated by white panels on both sides of a curved black interior. The center portion of the console features two types of USB ports – USB-A and a USB-C. However, the design of the back of the console still remains a mystery.
Sony is retaining the classic vertical stand design for its console. Since Sony did not clarify we do not know if the stand is a part of the design or a separate accessory. The new model is thinner, unlike the standard design which is usually a bit bulkier.
The PlayStation 5 design is a reminiscence of any outlandish design and matches perfectly with the DualSense controller design. At first glance, the white and black design of the controller looks something straight out of a science fiction movie.
The new Sony PS5 consoles also bring with it a range of accessories. The DualSense controller features haptic feedback and a built-in microphone. There is also a Charging Station for the DualSense controllers, an HD camera, and a Pulse 3D Wireless Headset. Sony has also brought out a new Media Remote for using the console as a Blu-ray player and streaming box.
