Sony is in all high to launch Xperia XZ4 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in February 2019. But this time we have come to know another company leak: the mini variant of the phone dubbed as Xperia XZ4 Compact.
In the last few days we have come across the leaks of Xperia XZ4, but now it’s the time for the phone’s smaller sibling to take the stage; the Sony Xperia XZ4 Compact. The phone continues to feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and only a single camera on the front and rear. Not much is said about the phone beyond that fact that it will also sport a Snapdragon 855 processor like its larger counterpart.
On the camera part, the Sony Xperia XZ4 Compact to feature a back camera with LED flash in the top-left corner. The Xperia XZ4 Compact will feature a single rear camera placed at the top left corner as opposed to its elder sibling Xperia XZ4 that is expected to feature a centrally placed triple camera setup on the back. The back of the device also features Xperia branding. There is a single camera for selfies on the front and the chin of the device showcases Sony’s logo. The phone will also feature dual speakers on the front.
Additionally, 64GB of internal storage and Android 9 Pie are to be expected. It seems like a fingerprint scanner is something that is missing on the rear. It is yet unclear when the device will make its debut.
