If you are aware of the Starlink mission of SpaceX then you must know that on 3 June 2020, SpaceX launched its 8th Starlink mission. In Space Launch Complex 40, situated in Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Falcon 9 took off at around 9:25 PM.
Now Spacex has unveiled to us the pictures from the fairing of Falcon 9.
It has been an extremely painstaking period for Elon Musk and his team of SpaceX to come about to the many launches that he led this year, as the reports suggest. Not only did he send two astronauts to the International Space Station but also successfully led the venture of putting 60 high-speed satellites into the orbit.
Well, it may sound breath-taking, but with the above news, Musk has also reached another important milestone in his arena. He has re-used the same rocket for 5 different launches.
SpaceX, on Tuesday (local time), took to YouTube to share the grand video of the process of opening of the fairing. The awesome video was captured from one of the fairings. It shows the gradual disintegration of the fairing from the main body of Falcon 9.
The nose cone of the rocket was dismantled into two pieces that landed back on the surface of the Earth.
It is interesting to know that SpaceX got 60 Starlink Satellites for the payload this time. And this payload is protected by the two fairings measuring 43 feet each.
The view that the video provides is amazing and it makes one wonder about the velocity and pressure that are exerted by Falcon 9. The video also gives a wider view of the space from the rocket’s point of view. It is worth checking out for our experience.
