The Chinese smartphone giant Oppo was supposed to launch Oppo F7 in India on the 26th of March. But a mere week before its official launch, the key specs are already leaked online.
The reported facts are backed by Oppo’s sales pitch manual carrying the flagship smartphone’s specifications. The Oppo F7 is now reported to run on a seamless octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor powered by 6GB RAM. This superphone comes with a 16 MP rear camera with an automatic scene recognition feature. The 4k-enabled camera will come with an f/2.0 aperture. Its 3400mAh battery is supposed to run for 15 hours after a single full charge.
The handset will run on the latest version of Android OS, the 8.0 Oreo operating system, along with the smooth running UI, ColorOS. Oppo F7 has a 6.2-inch full-HD+ display, paired with 1080×2280 pixel resolution and a dazzling 19:9 aspect ratio. The display design is said to bear a resemblance to iPhone X. According to the report, there may be a 25 MP front camera packed with AI-based features like AI Beauty, AI selfie, and Real-time HDR. Much like the newest Mi flagship, there is supposed to be an AI-based face recognition phone unlocking option using the front camera.
Oppo F7 specs are also supposed to offer cutting-edge features like gesture support and App-in-App view. As for connectivity, F7 comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS support.
The launch event for the flagship is to be held in Mumbai, where the three Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin have been roped in for the promotion by Oppo, who is a proud sponsor for the Indian National Cricket Team.
