Nintendo has officially announced a Splatoon X Pokemon Splatfest collaboration for November of this year. A Pokemon-themed Splatfest will be held as part of this collaboration between Splatoon 3 and Pokemon to commemorate the debut of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Depending on the type they select—grass, fire, or water—the Splatfest will offer participants in-game Pokemon-themed shirts.
Splatoon X Pokemon Splatfest collaboration: Event details and release date
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the upcoming mainstream games in the Pokemon franchise, will be released one week after the Splatfest. The release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which takes place the next week on November 18, is being commemorated with Splatoon X Pokemon Spaltfest scheduled for November 11 at 4 p.m. PT or 7 p.m. ET. It is going to be a two-day event and will conclude on Nov. 13 at 4 p.m. PT.
In the Splatsville hub area, which will be decked up in Splatfest-themed assortments and has a celebration for an event throughout the period, participants with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription can select any of the trams that suit their preferences.
The objective is for each side to cover as much of the area as they can to avoid being splattered too frequently. The team with the most area covered at the end wins and receives Super Sea-Snails as a prize, which they may utilize to enhance their equipment. With Pokémon’s widespread appeal, there will undoubtedly be many differing viewpoints
Additionally, Nintendo has vowed to decorate the Splatsville hub area in honor of the Splatoon X Pokemon Spaltfes event, inspiring everyone playing Splatoon 3 that weekend to take an interest.
The most recent Splatfest, held in September, immediately after the launch of Splatoon 3, had participants choose between gear, food, and fun as items to bring to a desert island. But given that Splatoon 2’s Splatfests continued for years after the game’s release and that Nintendo gave players who persisted incentives in Splatoon 3 for their existence, there will probably be a lot more.
