Summer Game Fest 2022 host Geoff Keighley opted to engage the audience for the presentation by stating that it would be mainly focused on previously announced titles along with a slew of worldwide premieres. Following this year’s E3 2022 being severely disrupted, all sights are now on the Summer Game Fest presentation to see what videogame wonders it brings.
Keighley expressed his excitement for the show’s offerings during a Twitter Spaces podcast session with VGC this Sunday, saying that it would contain major games alongside small games and fresh companies exhibiting their ideas for maybe the first time.
Summer Game Fest 2022 is mainly focused on previously announced games
Summer Game Fest is a worldwide video game celebration that began in May 2020 and brings together the worldwide video game industry for a summer celebration that includes digital events, demonstrations, debuts, and current events for video game enthusiasts.
Geoff Keighley mentioned in a Twitter Spaces session recorded by VGC that,
“This is a tremendously exciting weekend for me because I finally get to see stuff we’ve been talking about to folks for months,” Keighley told Twitter listeners. We’ve certainly revealed a handful of stuff in terms of world premieres and announcements that will be at the show since I last spoke with you guys.”
Further talking about the few game titles including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course he stated, “We’ll be playing through the first stage of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: That game appears to be great, and we’re looking forward to showing it to you on Thursday. We’ll have a presentation and some details about Gotham Knights, as well as some fresh gameplay video.” Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course will be released on June 30th, a little over three weeks from now, and we’ll be bringing some new video and studio MDHR along on the ride.”
On Thursday, June 9th, at 11 a.m. PT, the Summer Game Fest 2022 will actually happen. Thegamingawards YouTube and Twitch channels will stream it live.
