The BGMI Pro Series Season 1 Grand Finals were held between the 9th and 12th of June, and Team Soul won the title and collected prize money of 75 lakh INR. The total prize pool for this tournament, which was sponsored by Loco and iQOO, was Rs 2 crore. Starting on the first day, Team Soul dominated the competition, putting a large point gap between them and the rest of the competitors. After PUBG Mobile was banned in India, the BMPS championship became the first major esports event held in the region.

The BMPS Season 1 Grand Finals featured 16 teams who progressed via the League Stage, competing for a large portion of the prize money. The results were already expected in the favor of Souls, as they played excellently on Day 3 of the finals, gaining a 71-point lead over Global Esports, the second-placed team.

How did Team Soul win the BPMS 2022?

Team Soul scored 335 points with 5 chicken dinners in the Grand Finals and was proclaimed winners. The team ruled the finals, winning two chicken dinners on their journey to the top of the table. They maintained the first place for the entire four days and were guaranteed the champion. OR Esports scored a total of 250 points and became the runner-up, while Enigma gaming gained 228 points and secured the third position.

On day 4, three chicken dinners and 81 kill points helped Global Esports gain 183 points. Nigma Galaxy, on the other hand, surprised everyone today by winning two consecutive chicken dinners, jumping eight positions to third place. OR Esports finished fourth with 163 points, another dismal performance. Team Soul won the final match of the tournament with 15 kill points.

What is the prize pool distribution in the BGMI Pro Series Season 1?

The BGMI Pro Series Season 1 prize pool was Rs 2 crores, which will be split among the 16 teams who competed in the grand finale. Team Soul’s winners received a big chunk of the prize money, with 75 lakhs. The second-place finishers(or Esports) will earn 35 lakhs, while the third-place finishers (ENIGMA GAMING) will receive 20 lakhs. The money is divided among the other teams as follows:
