Today, the Chinese video game publishing company Tencent Games has officially announced that minors can play games for a maximum of 14 hours during the 2022 Festival holidays.
The company details that minors can play online games for a maximum of 14 hours in 14 days during the upcoming 2022 winter and Spring Festival holidays.
Recall that in December last year, the gaming industry issued a notice titled “Notice on Further Strict Management and Practically Preventing Minors from Indulging in Online Games,” thereby restricting minors from playing online games for 4 days during the New Year’s Day holiday, from 20 to 21 o’clock every day.
With this development, it will be rightly said that the earlier strict management measures and strict proposed restrictions on time are for providing online game services to minors.
The actual dates released by the company in the new notice are 14 days gaming hours, they are January 21 to 23, January 28, January 31 to February 6 (Chinese New Year holiday), and February 11 to 13.
On the above-mentioned dates, minors can log in to the game between 20:00 and 21:00 and enjoy the online video games for a complete 14 hours with their real-name registration and login requirements for online game user accounts.
However, it should be noted that January 29 to 30 has been banned for minors to play games, except for the upper limit play period.
The video game publishing division of Tencent Interactive Entertainment is the largest gaming company in the world based on her investments, with 330 million U.S. dollar venture in Epic Games, maker of popular PC titles such as Unreal Tournament and Fortnite, and complete acquisition of Riot Games, maker of League of Legends.
