Last week, a leaked photo disclosed a Nokia phone featuring the model number TA-1054. The smartphone has received the 3C certification, and recently it has been approved by TENAA in China. As per speculations, this smartphone will be released in 2018 as the second-gen version of the Nokia 6.
The images released by TENAA showcase the certification tag and the phone bearing a full-screen display. The original Nokia 6 was released back in January and it was said that HMD Global is working on the successor model.
The original Nokia 6 packs a fingerprint reader mounted on the front along with a 16:9 display. But its successor is likely to have the fingerprint reader at the rear, as suggested in one of TENAA’s images. The model further seems to have the 18:9 display.
The images do not show any capacitive buttons, telling us that the phone will come up with on-screen controls. Nokia 6 (2018) also hosts a downward-stretched camera module at the rear, just like the Nokia 5. The fingerprint sensor is right below the LED flash.
Among other speculations regarding specifications, we know that the smartphone might be powered by Snapdragon 630 or 660 having 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
