Tesla Motors, which is known for giving twists when it comes to launching a new product, has unveiled a new car charger that “automatically moves out from the wall & connects like a solid metal snake. For realz.” Last year in December Tesla founder Elon Musk tweeted that they are working on a new robot charger that grabbed much attention.
A video shared on the company’s Facebook page shows that the snake charger is weirder and mesmerizing than we could have thought. The charger looks like sitting in a garage, like a snake waiting for Tesla S to perform its duty. Once your car is in position, the charger cap is opened, and the robot-snake gets to work.

On the unveiling of Robo-snake, Musk tweeted, “Tesla Snakebot autocharger prototype. Does seem kinda wrong :).”
Tesla has not named the charger yet and currently testing on Model S.
