Tesla unveils its highly-anticipated ‘cybertruck’ at an event in Los Angeles.

Teaser images of the electric pickup were released before, along with Musk proclaiming certain features of it to be similar in size to Ford’s F-150.
In a tweet dated November 21, Elon Musk indicated this while talking about his longtime ambition of manufacturing a one-of-a-kind electric pickup truck:
The Tesla pickup incorporates the performance of a Porsche 911 sports car and the powerful capabilities of Ford’s F-150 full-size truck – Musk had described the Tesla pickup as “closer to an armored personnel carrier from the future” the previous month.
Tesla electric truck is more like a composition star than just a truck.
The cybertruck’s exterior is made up of stainless steel alloy which is used in SpaceX rockets making it fully bulletproof. In addition, it includes the unbreakable metal glass windows.
However, a Deutsche Bank analyst, Emmanuel Rosner, expressed the drawbacks of such a design in case it does not succeed in appealing to traditional truck buyers and thereby becomes a ‘niche’ Tesla production.
Tesla gives this incredible power and capability with its most costly model the Tri-Motor All-Wheel-Drive. It has the capability to carry 3,500 pounds, tow up to 14,000 pounds and that would go from zero to 60 in 2.9 seconds. It can also drive up to 500 miles on a full charge. The price for this starts at $69,900 Base models of the Tesla cybertruck will have a range of 250 miles and will start at $39,900.
Sam Fiorani, vice-president of global vehicle forecasting at Auto Forecast Solutions, said, “Making an electric pickup truck that sells in the same price range as an F-150 and making it profitable will be tough.”
Moreover, with the focus on producing trucks and SUVs, Tesla has Detriot’s automakers the likes of Ford and GM as its primary competitors.
Calling it a “cyberpunk truck” back in March, Musk had even divulged a few features of the pickup, including an all-wheel-drive with “crazy torque”, a suspension that comes with dynamical adjustment for load and a driving range of up to 500 miles. Tesla cybertruck also features big lockable storage spaces inside.
Tesla opens the self-driving option of the cyberpunk at $7000 extra.
The production of the super trucks will begin in late 2021, with the production of the Tri-Motor AWD version of the Cybertruck beginning a year later, according to Tesla.
