Gamers who enjoy Assassin’s Creed may expect a diverse selection of new games in the years to come. Three new Assassin’s Creed games have been leaked, all of which are said to provide entirely unique experiences.
Ubisoft revealed their planned Assassin’s Creed games last year. In an effort to bring the brand back to yearly releases, Ubisoft is presently working on a number of significant Assassin’s Creed games. This also applies to the Assassin’s Creed Mirage video game, which will be released this year. Yet, it appears that Ubisoft still has some plans beyond this.
Three New Assassin’s Creed Games In Development
According to Insider Gaming, there are three new Assassin’s Creed games in the works under the codenames Nebula, Raid, and Echoes. These games will be in addition to the already-announced Mirage, Red, Hexe, and Jade. These games will be developed by different teams and have unique gameplay.
Ubisoft is reportedly developing three new Assassin’s Creed games: Project Raid by Ubisoft Chengdu, Project Nebula by Ubisoft Sofia, and Project Echoes by Ubisoft Annecy. Project Raid is a four-player co-op PvE game, while Project Nebula is set in India, the Aztec Empire, and the Mediterranean, and Project Echoes is a multiplayer game.
As mentioned above, each new installment is substantially different from the ones before it. According to reports, the gameplay in these new games will vary greatly, with each giving a distinctive experience. Though, none of these games should be expected to be released anytime soon considering the 5–6 year baseline development period for games of this type.
Further details on the release dates of games were also provided by the sources. The release dates for Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Assassin’s Creed Nexus are slated for about August 2023 and 2023, respectively. The release dates for Codename Red are tentatively set for 2024, Assassin’s Creed Invictus for 2025, and Assassin’s Creed Hexe for 2026. These unofficial release dates might, however, change.
