After the successful launch of Lenovo’s Moto Z and Moto Z Force in June, likewise from the recent leaks and rumors, it looks like the company may have other devices in the lineup as well. This latest news about Moto Z Play was firstly revealed by a Google+ page named HelloMotoHK which is finely known for leaking the information and images of Motorola products.
There is an image showing the phone running Lenovo’s One UI, which is used for their products in China, hinting at a possible China launch. Furthermore, this news also has been provided by AnTuTu benchmarking app.
Moto X play – the lower version of Moto X Style, which was launched in India last year; similarly, Moto Z play is also a lower version of Moto Z and Moto Z Force style. Moto Z Play is expected to have a larger battery than its siblings, just like the X Play.
Moto Z play looks the same as the other Moto Z phones and has a connector and pins, which means it should work with Moto Mods out of the box. And as its design is similar to the previous one, it will also have disadvantages such as the large camera bump and the fingerprint magnet.
Two of the pictures also show the phone with the tag” Vector, ” one of the code names used for one of the Motorola devices ahead of the Moto Z launch.
Moto Z features nice specs and cool features, but its price will determine if folks will choose it over the Moto G4 Plus, considering that the Moto Mods are expensive as well.
Some questions about Moto Z are still unanswered, like, when will it be launched? And if it will be available outside of China or not?
